that said i also think manhunt lifts violence to rediculous levels with the sole intention of drawing people to the game.
I dont think games have any effect on a person: just bcos I play PTA dont mean im gonna steal cars all the time.
The police released a statement that the game was in the possession of the victim, not the murderer.

Don't complain that this game is violent or that Rockstar Games warped your childs brain.
I finished the game on the hardest setting and I was truly hoping for something more interesting to develop as I advanced but it was not to be.
The game progression depends on your ability to maneuver in an undetected manner and kill the hunters.

In business people are taught to be sleezy, its what every business gets by on, they are not looking out for you, your kids even their own employees or custmors, they are looking out for themselves and thats what they call "good business".
the people that rate these games are the ones that should be sued.for not sitting down and playing the game so that they could give this game a proper rating cause its not rockstars fault that some dumb 85 year old grandma didnt read the the rating level on the fuckin box.

People who are easily offended by bad language and violence, shouldn't buy this game, people who like a bit of violence in games certainly should.
This is the games best form of killing people nad the most violent, you have a number of wepaons from shards of glass, meat cleavers, baseball bats, to chainsaws and guns.
You have a simple little radar (on easy) which shows you were people are and things, a health bat, stamina bar, and a little picture of a bloke that helps let you know what stance you are in ie, running, crouch, hidden in shade and so on.

Manhunt falls into its own categor Stupid games with lots and lost of blood swearing and killing suck.
Yeah, it's definitely more of an action game (down the lines of something like Max Payne), but the horror/scare factor is there....especially towards the end (think piggly wiggly).

Sometimes people don't want to bother with passwords because they are waiting for any of a number of other people and they don't have the time or inclination to arrange one in advance.
These players have the right to expect a game with others of similar skill and experience and the polite thing to do is to move along.
The people I play with have spent 100s of hours perfecting their game ONLINE with other humans and don't necessarily want to have to take someone new to school (especially if they are a stubborn ash hole).

Manhunt is one of the best games I have played since the original Resident Evil game on PS1.
Sure, there may be some flaws to the game here and there, and you obviously have to suspend belief while playing, but this is one fun game that should give you hours of entertainment.
Anyone who plays this game and then goes out and does something violent had problems long before this game was around.

The game appears to be a little on the short side, but it's fun while it lasts (even though I haven't finished it yet) and I'll definatelly come back now and then for a quick massacre.
The game is really gruesome and if you can stand things like shattered skulls and spilling brains onto the ground then this game is for you.
The game is scary because of it's realism, just imagine some White Supremist members chasing you down, with baseball bats and nail guns, shouting at you and taunting you.

Reason being they know most other people dont want to hear it, and theyre afraid or dont care enough to put themselves out there by talking about their religion.

I agree that it must be a marketing trick to get more people buy the game (as BMX XXX tried a while ago with its mature content), but it didn't seem to work.
It's a good thing since, even if I don't mind having thousands of GTA clones that are a lot more excessive in every way, I doubt gamers would benefit from games more brutal and vulgar than Manhunt.
I just hope that kids won't play this game and that we won't see a horde of excessively violent games such as this...
