Manitou Springs, Colorado - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Manitou Springs is a city in El Paso County, Colorado, west of Colorado Springs along Ute Pass.
Manitou Springs derives its name from two dozen mineral springs situated throughout the area, many of which have spigots that locals and tourists alike may drink from.
As a result, many of the springs were made undrinkable during the bulk of the 1980s, but this has since largely been corrected.
