There was a minimum of talking at the intensive, which was Manju's first in the Chicago area (a few inexperienced students seemed unnerved by the lack of rhetoric, while more experienced practitioners called it one of the most inspiring workshops they'd attended).

It was a rare opportunity to see the three generations-Guruji, Manju and Sharath-teaching together, and the workshop drew more than 250 participants from all over the country, including actors, models, dancers, punks, hippies and senior teachers such as Eddie Stern, David Swenson and Jivamukti's David Life.
