A policeman and a civilian volunteer were shot dead by still unidentified gunmen in Manjuyod, Negros Oriental, the Philippine National Police headquarters reported Saturday.
Reports reaching the PNP operations center in Camp Crame, Quezon City, identified the fatalities as Senior Police Officer 1 Rey Falisilda, an intelligence officer of the Manjuyod police station, and civilian volunteer Roseller Bonifacio.
