The Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles are a team in the National Rugby League (NRL), the premier rugby league football competition in Australia.
Based in Brookvale on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, the Sea Eagles were admitted in 1947 to the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) competition, predecessor of the Australian Rugby League (ARL) and the current NRL competition.
The Sea Eagles corporation now holds the NRL licence for the team and generally operates the running the of the team in the Telstra Premiership.

The ground is owned by Warringah Council and is primarily used by the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles rugby league team.
Thus when Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles was granted first grade status in 1947, its first match in the big league was a home game at Brookvale Oval against Western Suburbs.

The Sea Eagles were one of the most loyal clubs to the ARL cause during the Superleague war, but financial difficulties exasperated by the ARL failure to collect money due from sponsors saw the club forced to amalgamate with North Sydney in late 1999.
The Sea Eagles were created from North Sydney in 1947 as part of an expansion that also saw Parramatta join the premiership.
