		Owned land in Mannington in 1723, a deed was made in 1732 for 500 acres in Mannington to Joseph Haynes, later sold to Hance Bilderbeck.

		Flowers, Furbee, Marr and Willoughby, Mannington's big four hundred, came up Wednesday to see the Vreeland Minstrels and our pretty girls." It is not clear if either of these references was to our Doc Flowers but the red-headed Jesse had long been deceased.
