Former Minnesota Thunder star, Manny Lagos, has been elected to the USL Hall of Fame (registration required to view the story; press release here).
Lagos was a member of the original Minnesota Thunder team in 1990 and played for the Thunder until 1996, scoring 29 goals during that time.
Lagos led the thunder to consecutive championship matches in 1994 and 1995.

Manny has had some good plays through the years, but he has been the Vlade Divac of MLS for several years - any bit of contact and he flops, expecting a foul.
Lagos won't carry a team but he can be very effective on a well balanced team, he is an "X-factor", he's the guy that alot of teams need, a guy that makes a good team really good.
Manny's role is that of a mosquito...buzz around the field but neverreally acomplish anything....he gets himself in very good positions only to overdriblle or hit a nonthreatening shot wide of the goal....
