Perhaps one of the strangest races to walk the face of Necala, the Mantidae were created by the gods to fill the gap created when various species of the Wereling race were annihilated in ages past.
Mantidae are peaceful by nature, but can and will become extremely violent if their hive is threatened in any fashion, or if their hive Queen orders them to war.
Mantidae are only produced by the Queens of the hive, the others of their race being sterile, as their tasks assigned at birth do not include adding numbers to their people.

Ability: Super strength: Mantidae can bust a table with ease, and can tear apart a human, though she tends to not want to do this; only when she is hungry will she do this.
Moving her arms in a diagonal motion, Mantidae can either A) Cause huge rocks to fall on the opponent--only in the mountains, or B) cause a huge slab of land (or whatever the floor she happens to be on) to jut up, forming somewhat of a shield.
Vow of Nonviolence: Mantidae has made a vow to never fight in her life, and to not cause damage of anyone, and to only use her spells not to attack, unless she is not directly harming the lifeform (IE, trapping someone)
