		MAPLETON, Utah -- The city does not endorse a $12 million offer to clean up part of its water supply, and instead will focus its attention on a $100 million lawsuit against an explosives manufacturer that negotiated the deal with the state.
		Mapleton's attorney, Doug Thayer, said the state-brokered proposal does not affect the city's lawsuit against the company.
		Mapleton filed the lawsuit against Ensign-Bickford in 2002, after the company balked at drilling for the city a new well outside the contamination plume.
