These wildebeest were moving westward towards the Mara River on the hill rising from Keekerok.
We spotted this one among all the wildebeest heading towards the Mara River.
All we managed to see at this point were a few hippopotami lounging in the river.

The Mara River flows northward through the Central Canadian Arctic and empties into the Burnside River about 50 km up the Burnside from Bathurst Inlet on the Arctic Ocean.
It is a mid-sized river, not frequently travelled, and quite beautiful.
