House of Hador - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tolkien's fictional universe of Middle-earth, the House of Marach or House of Hador was the Third House of the Edain.
Named after their first leader Marach or more commonly after his descendant Hador Lórindol, the House was the greatest of the three Houses of the Edain, and most heroes of the First Age were members of it.
Under Marach they were a war-like tribe, united in speech and manners to the First House of the Edain, the House of Bëor, and they settled in Estolad not long after the Bëorians and the Second House, the Haladin had settled there.
