So Marasesti is the place where the romanian soldiers died for defending the country, religion, culture against the germans.
I said FC Arsenal Marasesti is an army team so this is the reason for jersey colors.

The new offensive was going to be launched west of the Siret River, on the Focsani Marasesti Adjud direction, with the German 9th Army (general Johannes von Eben) and on the Oituz Valley with the Austro-Hungarian 1st Army (Archduke Joseph).
The main effort was concentrated in the sector between Marasesti and the Razoare Forest, defended by the Romanian 9th and 13th Infantry Divisions, the latter being assaulted by three enemy divisions.
The 9th Division reformed the front on the line south Negroponte Vineyards — Marasesti Railroad Station — south Marasesti, which it held against the enemy assaults, with the help of the artillery of the 14th Infantry Division from the eastern bank of the Siret River, firing directly in the German flank.

 Unknown Soldier's Tomb
In sign of eternal honour, the Romanian rulers decided in 1923 that the symbol for the sacrifice of the many, fallen for the unification of the country, should be evoked by the remains of one of the anonymous soldiers from Marasesti, Marasti, Oituz, Targu-Ocna, Jiu, Prahova, Bucharest, Dobrogea, Ardeal and Basarabia.
The exhumation and taking of these remains was followed by their laying in ten oak coffins, doubled with zinc and their expose in the Church "The Assumption" in Marasesti on the 13th of May 1923.
The next day, the Unknown Soldier's coffin, decorated with the Romanian flag, was carried by a guard of officers of the "Mihai Viteazu" military order and laid on the platform of a special train with the destination Bucharest, that arrived there during the same afternoon.

Buzau - Marasesti railway section (90,067 km) being finalized, the Royal Department of CFR has opened the passengers' traffic on June 1/13, 1881, and the freight traffic on August 20/ September 1, 1881, and the official inauguration took place on Sunday, October 6/October 18, 1881.
At Focsani, on the occasion of the official opening, the king of Romania, Carol I, was saying: "We are celebrating a double holiday, the opening of the line of a great economic and strategic importance and the inauguration of the first iron way conceived, managed and accomplished by us.
As a conclusion, we can say that April 26 1879 is the birthday date of the Romanian railway design activity, is, in fact, the birthday date of the present railway Design and Study Institute - SA Bucharest.

Another historic landmark is the memorial house Ion Roata, an old peasant and an elected member of the divan (a kind of parliament) who was directly involved in the Union of the Principalities.

The Marasesti Mausoleum is situated at the heart of the Vrancea region and it was erected in memory of the Romanian soldiers who died on the battlefields of World War I. In recognition of its great human losses during the battles here, the town of Marasesti received the War Cross of France in 1919.
The bas-reliefs decorating the outside of the dome represent scenes from the Marasesti battles and they are the work of sculptors Cornel Medrea and Ion Jalea.

In the summer of 1917, in the great battles of Marasti, Marasesti and Oituz, the Romanians aborted the attempt made by the Central Powers to defeat and get Romania out of the war by occupying the rest of her territory.
But the situation changed completely following the outbreak of the revolution in Russia (1917) and the separate peace concluded by the Soviets at Brest-Litovsk (March 3, 1918); this triggered the end of the military operations on the eastern front.
