Looking over the new features planned for C# and then for VB.NET it seems (at least at first glance) that C# programmers are getting lots of new goodies which the VB guys aren't.
So far MSFT has gone to great lengths to keep both languages equivalent, but it seems that either the VB team is one release behind the C# team in 2003, or that the language specifications are beginning to diverge.
In the early.NET days there were rumors that C# would eventually evolve toward supporting hardcore developers while VB would get dumbed down and center more on easy-of-use (which usually means lots of wizards).

On March 5 the Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing on what the committee described as “the asbestos litigation crisis.” Even though many observers expected the hearing to be used as a platform for the backers of the ABA-Nickles proposal, what unfolded was quite different.
On March 10 the Supreme Court ruled in a case that applies only to railroad workers that workers who are exposed to asbestos on the job can collect monetary damages because they have a fear of developing cancer even if they do not yet have cancer and may never develop it.
When the Republican leadership introduced the administration’s bill (S. 15) on March 11, it was put on the fast track, which means it will have one hearing next week in the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, and could reach the Senate floor for a final vote by March 21.

Sweeping aside objections from the news media, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Feb. 20, 2003, finalized a rule fling out information on dams, pipelines, and the power grid that it feels might be useful to terrorists.
The rule makes it harder for reporters to cover ways in which these facilities affect not only the health and safety of their readers and viewers — but the rates and taxes they pay as well.
