		Paul McGeough's article ("The Bush doctrine has been turned on its head", Herald, March 22) was insightful and holistic, unlike the general media's gaudily obvious, amnesia-doused and blinkered repetitions of the official line we were cluster-bombed with before the invasion (especially on commercial television).
		In reply to Dr Pride (Letters, March 22), a far more damaging consequence of abolishing the selective school system would be to deny those more academically able students the chance to reach their full potential.
		Seth Richardson (Letters, March 22), I think "out of context" must be somewhere near that place called "Random", from whence people are often taken.
