Minimum requirement for membership is two years prior experience in marching and playing (high school marching band, college marching band, or drum and bugle corps).
Cymbals are reserved for persons with experience marching cymbals that play an instrument not used in marching band (oboe, bassoon, etc.) Pit percussion is open to non-percussionists with pit experience and also to percussionists if the battery is full.
For students that have experience and wish to march with an instrument not listed as their major instrument, consideration will be taken on a case by case basis.
