At that time they lived simply; they knew little of warfare; they had no king in France; each man did what seemed good to him; and they were subject to the Romans, and each year they appointed new consuls of their own people to govern them, in addition to those from Rome.
Marcomer was the son of king Priam of Austria, who was a descendant of the great king Priam of Troy.
The French received him very honorably, together with his people, because they taught the French the use of arms, enclosed their cities and castles with walls against the assaults of thieves, established rulers and defenders of the country, and were of the same Trojan lineage as themselves; thus they were one people and one race.

This war was, apparently, in 409, for Marcomer was killed in a battle, while his son (Pharamond/Faramund) took the king's position in 409.
To that I need to add that the Marino and Mari Coats of Italy use the same fl diagonal design in slightly different manners, showing kinship, which may be important in that I root the Merovingians in Mari/Mary, the name of two (possibly related) cities, one on the Kabala-Strip Euphrates and one in Aryan Afghanistan.
While Marcomer and Pharamond are thought to be legendary by some, yet Childeric I (ruled from 458), who is thought to stem from Marcomer, is known to be an historical Merovingian.

The macromer may be a polysulfone, a polyketone, or a copolymer containing both sulfone and ketone-containing units; or, the macromer may be monofunctionalized PPO.
The vinyl groups at the end of the marcomer may then be converted to an ethynyl group by bromination of the macromer in CH.sub.2 Cl.sub.2 or CHCl.sub.3, followed by dehydrobromination in the presence of potassium-tert-butoxide ("K-t-Bu").
The glass transition temperature (T.sub.g) of the comb-like polymer produced from (monostyrenated) macromer after curing, is unexpectedly higher than that of the terminally halogenated macromer which the comb-like polymer is derived.

The Historia of Sulpicius Alexander [which has been lost, by the way] gives many details about them, while Valentinus does not name their first King but says that they were ruled by war-leaders.
Then he continues: [This is Gregory quoting Sulpicius] "A few days later there was a short parley with Marcomer and Sunno, the royal leaders of the Franks." When he says "regales" or royal leaders, it is not clear if they were kings or if they merely exercised a kingly function.
...Sulpicius Alexander recorded conflict in 389 between Arbogast, a Frank who held high military office in the empire, and two regales, or petty kings, of the franks, Sunno and Marcomer, and he revealed that the latter was the warleader of the Amsivarii and the Chatti.
