  Achtung Panzer! - Marder Series
Vehicles of the Marder series were not introduced in order as their designations would imply and Marder II Sd.Kfz.132 was the first of the series.
The Marder II was a self-propelled anti-tank gun based on the obsolete Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf A/B/C and F light tank.
It had a superstructure similar to that of the Marder II and was armed with a 50mm PaK 38 L/60 anti-tank gun (due to a shortage of 75mm PaK 40 guns).

 Achtung Panzer! - PzKpfw II
Panzerkampfwagen II was operated by three men crew composed of driver located in the front of the hull, commander/gunner and loader/radio-operator in the turret.
One of the most interesting conversions was modified Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf A/B/Cs mounted with superstructure similar to Marder II (Sd.Kfz.131) and armed with 50mm Pak 38 L/60 gun (due to shortage of 75mm Pak 40 guns), designated as 5cm PaK38 L/60 auf Fahrgestell Panzerkampfwagen II (Sf).
Panzerkampfwagen II took part in the Polish Campaign in 1939 and was used as a combat tank.

The Marder II (Sd.Kfz.131) used the hull of the Pz.Kpfw.II Ausf.F light tank as the basis for a self-propelled antitank gun.
The turret was removed, and the top of the Pak 40's field carriage was mounted behind a gun shield which was open at the top and rear.
Seventy-five Pz.Kpfw.II Ausf.c/A/B/C and Ausf.F hulls were converted to Marder II starting in July 1943.

Marder II Review by Neil Stokes (DML 1/35)
131 Marder II was one of the first Panzerjaeger vehicles to mount the 7.5cm Pak 40, though the Marder I using the captured Lorraine-Schlepper chassis appears to have beaten the Marder II into service by a mere month.
The Marder II was armed with the 7.5cm Pak 40/2 L/46, with secondary armament of an 7.92mm MG34 and a 9mm MP38.
However, it does provide a plan view of the Marder III M and assuming the gun barrels are the same (the Marder III M mounted the Pak 40/3), the kit barrels measure correctly against these plans.

 Dragon 6262 Sd.Kfz.131 Marder II
As mentioned there are alternate drive sprockets, the standard Panzer II type and re-enforced type used exclusively on the Marder II and Wespe and these feature well defined bolt details around the rims with the correct number of bolts for the specific type and also have the bolts around the inside of the sprockets.
As the interior of the Marder II is visible Dragon gives you a fairly comprehensive interior with some parts such as the forward vision ports and rear bulkheads added to the underside of the upper hull.
Overall this is an excellent little kit of the late Marder II with all the correct late features included with very nicely rendered details and the inclusion of multiple choices for the suspension and muzzle brakes offer various alternatives for the final model.

Marder II Review by Cookie Sewell (DML 1/35)
II was a superior vehicle to the Pzkw.
The Marder II (Marder is the German name for the pine marten, which is a weasel on steroids – five feet long from nose to tip of tail!) began as a conversion of the Pzkw.
Dragon is somewhat coy with this kit, as all sprues for the Marder II are labeled as such, but all of the running gear ones (D, E, F and G) are left unlabeled, hinting at future releases such as a family of Pzkw.
