Margaret Farrow is a former state senator and former Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin.
The first female lieutenant governor of Wisconsin, Farrow was appointed to the position after then-Lieutenant Governor Scott McCallum was elevated to governor upon the departure of Gov. Tommy Thompson to join the administration of George W. Bush in January 2001.
After her term with the Village Board, Farrow was elected to the Wisconsin State Senate from a district comprising most of Waukesha County, Wisconsin.

That is a 62.3 percent to 29.7 percent margin of votes cast in the county.
She was elected to the state Senate in 1989 and was appointed lieutenant governor by McCallum in May 2001 when McCallum left that post in February 2001 to become governor.
