	MP Maria Minna cleared by ethics counsellor
		Liberal MP Maria Minna did not break election laws when she cast a ballot in a civic byelection, the federal ethics counsellor ruled Friday.
		Howard Wilson said that Minna was "entitled and eligible to vote" in the November 2001 election in Toronto.
		But the Canadian Alliance demanded Minna be dropped from her cabinet post as international co-operation minister, noting that her campaign manager was working for the same municipal politician Minna voted for.

		Taking advantage of Wilson's 3 for 1 sale, Minna is being investigated for Canadian International Development Agency's contracts to her campaign organizers Doug Glynn, and Ted Lojko ($500 per day) aka Brantwood Communications.
		Staff in Minna's Ottawa office handled public relations for the conference and Lojko was not a contact on any of the press releases for the conference.

		Maria Minna may not even get her own ballot, if she still hasn't yet figured out which district she is supposed to vote in, but who would ever know maybe she is a closet kNeeDipPer and voted for Jack Layton himself in the municipal election before last.
		With such rampant endorsement of Minna by small businesses, I have to believe she's on the way to victory, if she's not hugely popular, a lot of storeowners are probly making a bad business decision in endorsing her.
