  Marian Catechist Manual
Marian Catechists are to be living witnesses to their faith in Christ and thus become channels of believing grace to other people.
Pope John Paul II declared, it is “decisive” that “the very young child receives the first elements of catechesis from its parents and the family surroundings.” He further said, “I cannot insist too strongly on the early initiation by Christian parents in which the child’s faculties are integrated into a living relationship with God.
Marian Catechists are to be specially zealous in fostering family catechesis and assist parents in the religious instruction of their children in secularized societies.

Introduction to Marian Apparitions, the Bible and the Modern World
There is also, too, the factor of the great "Marian" Popes from the time of Pius IX and the dogma of the Immaculate Conception, in 1854, and also Leo XIII, the Pope of the Rosary, and Pope St Pius X at the beginning of the twentieth century.
Similarly, Benedict XV and Pius XI advocated Marian devotion, as did Pius XII, the Pope of the dogma of the Assumption (1950), and the "Pope" of Fatima itself, particularly since he was consecrated bishop on the very day of the first apparition, 13 May 1917.
Thus Marian devotion generally, and the Marian apparitions in particular, even though they have been largely ignored by the secular world, have had a profound, though often hidden, effect on the Church, and so indirectly on society as a whole.

Pope John Paul II's Teaching on Marian Coredemption by Arthur Burton Calkins
Her ascent of Calvary and her standing at the foot of the cross together with the beloved disciple were a special sort of sharing in the redeeming death of her Son.
The particular context in which Vatican II's Mariological debate took place did not allow these wishes, although substantial and widespread, to be accepted, but the Council's entire discussion of Mary remains vigorous and balanced, and the topics themselves, though not fully defined, received significant attention in the overall treatment.
There are many more texts of John Paul II which treat explicitly to Mary's collaboration in the work of redemption and which could be referred to, but it is obviously impossible to cite them all in such a presentation.

The Bad Effects of the Papal Apologies of John Paul II by Marian Horvat @ TraditionInAction.org
Marian T. Horvat, Ph.D. My friend Jan was not convinced that the latest papal apology for the Inquisition (see last article) was really so harmful to the Church.
This apology, as well as the more than 100 others that John Paul II has made for the supposed wrongdoings of the Church, are presenting a new and false progressivist notion of what the Church is. The Church, in fact, does not “do wrong things,” as papal apologies induce the faithful to think.
This notion of a sinning Church that the progressivists inculcate in the spirit of the naïve faithful, is affirmed in documents of Vatican II.

 Part 2 of "Mary Co-redemptrix: A Response to 7 Common Objections" by Dr. Mark Miravalle;
Without using the term “co-redemptrix,” the Council clearly enunciated the doctrine: a cooperation of a unique kind, a maternal cooperation in the life and work of the Savior, which reaches its apex in the participation in the sacrifice of Calvary, and which is oriented towards the supernatural life of souls.
Beyond its certain doctrinal presence in Vatican II, Marian coredemption, along with the explicit use of the title co-redemptrix, is a repeated papal teaching spanning the 19th to the 21St century, which again assures its authentic doctrinal status within the Church.
The title refers to the spiritual function which Mary performs in her unique cooperation in Redemption, and therefore to separate the title from the doctrine is to inappropriately and dangerously disconnect the title from its revealed and authoritatively taught doctrinal foundation.

Marian apparition - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A Marian apparition is an event in which the Virgin Mary is purported to have supernaturally appeared to one or more persons, typically Catholics, in various settings.
A Marian apparition, if deemed genuine by Church authority, is treated as private revelation that may emphasize some facet of the received public revelation for a specific purpose, but it can never add anything new.
It has been claimed that apparitions were experienced by a number of popes, including Pope Leo XIII in 1884, Pope Pius XII at various stages during his papacy, and Pope John Paul II in 1981, while he recovered from an assassination attempt which occurred on the anniversary of the Fatima apparition.

Actually, it was this aggiornamento [adaptation of the Church to the modern world] that changed the traditional morals of the Church regarding sexuality, and invited priests and religious to indulge in all kinds of moral extravagance, including pedophilia and homosexuality.
Instead of castigating these vices against nature following the example of St. Paul who warned that sodomites would not possess the kingdom of God, the leaders of today’s Church would be following a different course that does not, and cannot, lead to a real cleansing in the ranks of the Church.
Priests, religious and seminarians, influenced by this new approach and disposed to shed the yoke of the supposedly oppressive traditional morals, embraced license and liberty.

 Marian Devotion And The Consecration.1
With inquiry and discernment seemingly disappearing in the winds of change, few seem to realize that that the Pope's total guidance is coming from "Mary," and that this radical commitment to her has brought all who are uniting with him under the headship of Mary.
Missori said, "The renewal of Marian theology and devotion is another distinctive characteristic of the teaching and pastoral activity of John Paul II." The devotion Missori mentioned is based on De Montfort's "True Devotion To Mary." The Marian theology he mentioned is being renewed through his pastoral activity, which includes the post-denominational world of Christianity.
The Pope is renewing this Marian emphasis because Totus Tuus (total surrender to Mary) is central to his personal life, an aspect of De Montfort's faith that the Pope said he added to his faith in Christ in his younger days.
