		Williams Arena is on the Twin Cities main campus of the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
		The arena was remodeled in the 1950s, and renamed Williams Arena after Dr. Henry L. Williams, the football coach from 1900 to 1921.
		The Hinkle Fieldhouse at Butler University was also constructed in 1928, and held the honor of being the highest capacity arena until the remodeling of Williams Arena in 1950.

		Mariucci Arena is the home arena for the Minnesota Golden Gophers men's ice hockey team of the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
		The arena opened in 1993 and is named after John Mariucci, the long time Gopher coach who is considered the "godfather of Minnesota hockey." The ice sheet is Olympic sized (100 feet by 200 feet).
		Mariucci Arena has been host to prominent regional, national, and international competitions, including the 2005 West Regional of the NCAA men's ice hockey tournament, the 2006 Frozen Four in women's ice hockey, and the 2006 World Short Track speed skating event.
