		Mark moved to Indiana in 2001 to serve as dean for advancement and secretary of the college at Wabash College, a small independent liberal arts college and one of the nation's three remaining colleges for men.
		Mark is a graduate of Hartwick College and Cornell Law School, and he completed the Institute for Educational Management at Harvard University's Graduate School of Education.

		Tom and Mike both served with Mark in Amtracs during the Vietnam War and are members of the Amtrac Platoon.

		Mark's family (father Ron, mother Annemarie, and sister Meghan) joined together with Bay Area Society for Television, Advertising and Radio (Bay Area STAR) — the nonprofit association serving the industry Mark worked in — to create the scholarship soon after Mark's accidental death in December 2002.
