Mark Olson, R-Big Lake, was arrested Sunday in connection with an alleged domestic assault on his wife at their home, the Star Tribune reported.
Olson, 51, was taken into custody at Calvin Christian School in Blaine and was being held in the Sherburne County Jail in Elk River.
Olson was re-elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives on Nov. 7 with 58 percent of the vote.
