Mark Rypien, on the other hand, certainly comes closer to being a franchise QB for the Redskins.
To me, at least, this puts Mark Rypien more in the vein of a Kurt Warner; a QB that had a few great seasons, but was unable to sustain his success, for whatever reason (injury, age, etc.) over a course of many years.
