Marle is the second character you meet in the game, and is perhaps also the second most important character in the game, after Crono.
Marle has been upset with her father, the king, and ran away temporarily to attend the Millennial Fair, which is where she ran into Crono in the first place.
Marle is a valuable character to have in your party throughout the game, as many of her special abilities are related to healing instead of attacking.

LT81 - The Incomplete Response of Catholic Theologians to the Demythologizing of Rudolf Bultmann - Part II
Marlé says that what Bultmann calls "myth" we call "mystery," for this is what Tradition has handed down to us, and we are convinced that outside of Tradition the fullness of revelation contained in the New Testament cannot be adequately safeguarded, that, in fact, the entire Christian faith would be gravely menaced.
Marlé is of the opinion that Bultmann's use of the philosophy of Heidegger consists mainly in the borrowing of certain distinctions, with total neglect of what Heidegger has to say about the "poetic sense of mystery", for Heidegger, while not exceeding the bounds of philosophy, tended more and more towards the use of symbolic language.
Marlé admits, however, that Bultmann has shown courage in presenting the program and that the radical character of the proposals contained therein is an incentive to theologians of every persuasion to renew their contact with the very foundations of the faith they profess.

 Chrono Trigger - SNES Review
Chrono Trigger is the one RPG on the planet that truly seems to have everything: The amazing, unpredictable story, the endearing characters (characters even better than those in Final Fantasy VI), the excellent and very accessible battle system; well thought-out and rewarding side quests, tricky foes, and well-written dialogue.
Each character comes equipped with a list of super moves unique to that character, but even so, all the characters are pretty much equally balanced; it’s the Final Fantasy VII complaint that preceded Final Fantasy VII.
Once the character you’re waiting for is ready, flip on the tech menu and you’ll see a list of moves called double-techs, which pack a bigger punch then the single techs but also waste the turns of two characters.
