Marlow Webster Cook (born July 27, 1926 in Akron, Erie County, New York) is a former Republican United States Senator from Kentucky.
In 1962, as County Judge-Executive of Jefferson County, Kentucky, Cook was partially responsible for the county's $34,000 purchase of the decrepit steamboat Avalon at public auction in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Cook served with distinction in the United States Navy, was a lawyer, a judge, and a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives.

Marlow Cook (1926-) was born in Akron, New York, and moved with his family to Louisville in 1942.
As a Republican Cook was elected to the Kentucky House of Representatives in 1957 and in 1961 he was elected Jefferson County Judge Executive, a post he held until his successful run for the U.S. Senate in 1968.
Cook then started a successful law practice in Washington, D.C. The personal papers of Marlow W. Cook consist of speeches, legislative issue files, legislation sponsored, voting records, constituent correspondence files, grants, press releases and memorabilia from his service in the U. Senate.

I cook it down in crock pot, on low, and don't even LOOK at it for the first hour or hour and 1/2.
