 Georgetown Program Review
This is a goal of the current program, appears as a point of criticism by those outside the program and seems a relevant question relating to the weighing of costs and benefits.
Data from the debate program demonstrates that the prominence of the debate program is an important factor in the decisions of nearly all debate participants and in many students who attend Georgetown but ultimately decide not to participate in intercollegiate debate.
The co-curricular value of the programs is substantially impacted by a lack of access to formal coaching and hence education in the art and practice of argumentation.

 Mission to Mars
The goal of the program was to explore Mars with an orbiter and release a probe that would examine the Martian atmosphere.
The country's robust space program had seen cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin become the first man to orbit the Earth in 1961.
Marsnik 1 also had two solar panels for power and a high gain antenna for radio communications.

 Soviet Craft - Mars
Some Soviet scientists involved with the program at that time claim no knowledge of this mission, stating that only the launch on October 14 (Marsnik 2) was an intended Mars mission.
Marsnik 2, an intended Mars flyby mission, was either the Soviet Union's first or second attempt at a planetary probe, depending on whether the probe designated as Marsnik 1 reputedly launched four days earlier was actually designed to go to Mars.
The objectives of the mission were to investigate interplanetary space between Earth and Mars, study Mars and return surface images from a flyby trajectory, and study the effects of extended spaceflight on onboard instruments and provide radio communications from long distances.

Voyager program (Mars) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The missions were planned, as part of the Apollo Applications Program, between 1966 and 1968 and were scheduled for launch in 1974–75.
Funding for the program, like that of the entire AAP program, was cut in 1968 and the mission itself was cancelled entirely in 1971, mainly on the grounds that launching both probes on a single rocket was both risky and expensive.
Despite being cheaper and simpler than the Voyager Mars program (using the same Mariner 8/9 design for the orbiter, but with an automobile-sized lander with a very expensive microbiology lab), the Viking 1 and Viking 2 probes were launched to Mars on separate Titan 34-D/Centaur rockets in 1975 and reached Mars in 1976.

Until those letters are returned and sorted out, it is unknown how many children will be enrolled in one program or another, where teachers will be assigned, and how many new textbooks to buy.
Marsnik's simplistic explanations gradually set the room buzzing with urgent chatter.

Yet major reforms of existing classroom programs such as Model B would not be permitted in the future unless MALDEF agreed to the changes.
Court rulings have required only that school districts base their programs for limited-English speakers on educational theory found to be sound by "some experts," that school districts use practices designed to turn those theories into reality, and that districts determine, after a sufficient time, whether their practices to overcome language barriers are failing or succeeding.
Citing Marsnik's insistence that L.A. simply could not comply with the new law, MALDEF argued to Judge Baird that the city's teachers had not been specifically trained in English immersion, that English-immersion instructional materials had not yet been prepared for students or teachers, and that the system for granting waivers into Spanish was not ready.
