	Birkholm Højsskole - Historien bag Birkholm
		Idag bor der reelt kun 5 mennesker på øen, hvoraf de to arbejder på Fyn, to er fiskere og den sidste fører postbåden der hver dag sejler til Marstal og tilbage igen, - 2 gange i sommerhalvåret.
		Da familien fra Marstal ankom til Birkholm om morgenen for at drikke kaffe i forsamlingshuset, erklærede de at de ikke ville begive sig ud på sejlturen til Drejø kirke, - turen fra Marstal havde været slem nok for dem.
		De blev til sidst enige om at flytte brylluppet til Marstal kirke, da søgangen på vej til Marstal ikke var så slem som på turen til Drejø.
