the name gallagher is derived from the words galcobhair(foreign help)or galloglaic,scottish troops sent to ireland betwen 1200 and 1600 to help the irish against the english,the name did not exist until this time.
Well me being a Gallagher myself would have to say that in Donegal and in most in Ireland "GALLAGHER" would be pronounced as GAL A HER or maybe sometimes GOL A HER.

Somehow, I don't think Martin and Gallagher are overly concerned with how many people "get" this album, but I hope there are those out there who will appreciate it nonetheless.
However, regardless of how many people hear it and/or enjoy it, Tibet stands as a singular achievement and a testament to Martin's and Gallegher's dedication for preserving their memories of a very special time in their lives and passing those impressions along to us.
