		Martin Rushent is an English musician and record producer.
		Rushent entered the music business in the early 70's as an engineer working on records by T Rex, David Essex and Yes amongst others.
		However it was after punk that he came into his own as a producer working on records by The Buzzcocks, Generation X, XTC and the Stranglers.

		Martin revealed that he was already 33% into the project having secured copies of the masters from Virgin who were initially lukewarm to the original suggestion of releasing a 'millenia version in late 1998'.
		Legendary League producer Martin Rushent has revealed that his plans to remix Dare 22 years on from his Love and Dancing album are now back on track and the producer has the blessing of Philip according to TranZFusion.net.
		Martin recently contacted Virgin to congratulate them after hearing Richard X's Finest Dreams in August which contained a remixed version of his very own Love and Dancing mix of 'The Things That Dreams Are Made Of'.

		Some British copies were made ready for "dinking," which means that they had a "perforation" around the disc centre so that it could be punched out, which allowed the single to be played on a jukebox.
		Despite the credit on the labels of the British and Australian singles, the version of "Are You Receiving Me?" on this single was produced not by John Leckie but by Martin Rushent, who is correctly honoured on the Dutch edition, which, however, erroneously credits him also as the producer to the flip side.
		This confusion was a result of the fact that Virgin UK thought the Leckie-produced "Are You Receiving Me?" was not suitable for a single, and subsequently made the band re-record the song with Rushent.

		It has been a lifetime since I've heard them, and I never heard their 2nd, but Happy Birthday had some good songs.
