		Shortly before the recording of this album, Martin Mendez, a friend of Lopez, was recruited as Opeth's bass player, but lacked the time to learn Opeth's material, so Åkerfeldt played bass for the recording.
		Martin Lopez' jazz-influenced drumming on this record was met with great critical acclaim.
		Martin Axenrot became Lopez's permanent replacement, having played with Opeth for the last 5 tours and the BBC recordings on a previously temporary basis.

	Martin Wiberg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Martin Wiberg (September 4, 1826 - December 29, 1905) was born in Viby, Scania enrolled at Lund University in 1845 and became a Doctor of Philosophy in 1850.
		He is known as a computer pioneer for his 1875 invention of a machine the size of a sewing machine that could print logarithmic tables.
		Apart from this invention, Wiberg invented numerous other devices and gadgets, among these a cream separator and a pulse jet engine.

		Wiberg, 38, was a 14-year veteran of the sheriff’s office who was responding to an armed-robbery call in the early hours of May 11, 2004, when he died in a traffic accident on a snowy U.S. 395, Washoe Sheriff Dennis Balaam said.

		Per Wiberg headbanging his ass off, started the night out right with his stunning performance, he definitely set the tone to glory.
		The seemingly well-rested Åkerfeldt must have had one hell of a nap before the band took the stage as his overly disheveled hair looked as “he had just climbed out of bed", according to one of our staff members.
		Then we have bassist Martin Mendez decided to do a little house cleaning on stage with his long mane sweeping the floor, rhythmically swaying back and forth like a metronome whilst playing.
