Martinsville is a track that Gordon could look to for success, after all, he swept the two 2003 races there and the 24 crew keeps making great pit stops, great decisions and always seems to hit their marks at the right time and manages to stay out of trouble.
Whats costing them is the ability to be up front for the duration of the race, for most of the races this season, it looks as if they've waited until the last minute to execute their moves, much like Bristol and Texas.
With that in mind, theyre looking to echo the success they saw at Martinsville in 2002 when they won the October race and they led during the 2003 October race until they spun in their own oil much to the delight of 85,997 fans.
