  Marty Reasoner - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Reasoner was traded on July 1, 2001 to the Edmonton Oilers, along with Jochen Hecht and Jan Horacek in exchange for Oilers' captain Doug Weight.
Reasoner, who had until that point failed to secure a regular NHL job, went on to play the next two full seasons for the Oilers, until a severe knee injury and the NHL lockout forced him off the ice.
Reasoner was traded from Edmonton to the Boston Bruins on March 9, 2006, along with Yan Stastny and a second round pick in the 2006 NHL Entry draft in exchange for Sergei Samsonov.
