Marvel Knights is now the home to high profile limited series often falling outside normal marvel continuity.
Joe Quesada: “Marvel Knights is the showcase for ‘evergreen events’ -- self-contained limited series that think outside the box, that challenge readers to re-think their favorite Marvel characters and re-evaluate the legends that surround them.
In 2004, Marvel Comics created a Marvel Knights 2099 imprint, which takes place in a future continuity (in the year 2099, of course) that is not identical to the Marvel 2099 continuity.

Put simply,the first chapter in the Marvel Boy trilogy (if it indeed is still that) seems to be Grant Morrison channeling the imaginations of Jack Kirby and Satan simultaniously, and writing the images he recieves down as words.
Marvel Boy doesn't really break any new ground, until it's too late, and you realize just what is really going on.

IMO it dosen't seem like Marvel even cares about Quasar anymore...and the way he's been written in his more recent appearences I wouldn't give much of a chance to any series written like that...basically he's written nowadays as an in-experienced jobber...which directly contradicts the, experienced, intelligent, confident Cosmic hero he bacame under Gruenwald.
Quasar originally went by the name Marvel Man when he was in the SHIELD super agents program, but he abandoned that name for Quasar when some kid made fun of it.
Marvel Boy is far and away my favorite Golden Age Marvel character.

The main character is Kree, one of the standard Marvel Comics alien races, and he uses a computer with the face of Roy Thomas-era super-villain The Supreme Intelligence of the Kree.

Marvel Boy was the next project he tackled, and for me to get my Morrison fix, I had to wrestle my Marvel demons.
Well, nobody, Marvel for too long was style over substance, quantity over quality, and every other cliché over cliché criticism you can drum up.
Basically, Marvel Boy is about Noh-Varr, a Kree dimensional explorer from an alternate reality.
