When the logo is fully traced and the lines are in position (with horizontal lines for the M part and vertical lines for the P), the logo flashes, and the M cut out turns white while the rest turns yellow.
As the bars rotate up towards us, we see that it is the Marvel Productions logo, done in glorious 3D (and with the M cut-out not filled in).
Logo: On a fl background, in a white square, a logo similar to the Marvel Comics logo is seen, but the M now has squares cut out on either side of it and "Films" written in script across it.

It is interesting to note that, metatextually, Marvel editors decreed Proudstar should die because he and Wolverine were too similar, personality wise; if things were just a little different, Wolverine may have been chosen to die in his place.
Thunderbird (John Proudstar) is a comic book superhero in the Marvel Comics universe, and a member of the X-Men.

In Marvel Comics, a mutant is a person who, as a result of genetic mutation, is born with a special power of one sort or another.
For example, Marvel Comics established that the man using the name of Captain America in the 1950s was not the same as the one in the '40s, to stay consistent with the story in which The Avengers found the original Captain America had been frozen in Arctic ice since 1945.
Since 1981, DC and Marvel Comics have claimed a joint trademark on the term, but have made only spotty attempts to keep others from using it, and it's anybody's guess whether or not it would stand if it were ever seriously challenged in court.

A Manhattan federal judge has ruled that Lee is entitled to a potential multimillion-dollar payday from Marvel Enterprises off profits generated by the company's TV and movie productions.
The ruling on Monday from US District Court Judge Robert W Sweet found Lee was entitled to a 10 per cent share of the profits generated since November 1998 by Marvel productions involving the company's characters, including those created by the prolific cartoonist.
He already earns a $US1 million ($A1.32 million) a year salary from Marvel as part of the agreement, but felt that he was getting short-changed on additional income due him under the deal.
