Mary Kerry Kennedy (known as Kerry) was born September 8, 1959, in Washington, D.C., the seventh of the eleven children of Robert F. Kennedy and Ethel Skakel Kennedy.
She married Andrew Cuomo, son of former New York Governor Mario Cuomo, on June 9, 1990, in Washington, D.C. They separated in 2003 after a public falling out that included published rumors of Kennedy's infidelity, and have since divorced.
She led a delegation from the CHR to Liberia in July of 2004.

On 2), the amazing thing is that Andrew Cuomo's apparently the one getting hurt the most in the press, even though the only story that has come out is about his wife having an affair.
The tilt to Kerry Kennedy Cuomo may reflect sound journalistic assessments of the character of the two main parties--people really seem to despise Andrew Cuomo, which is heartening--but it's not exactly a good example of Purnick's women-always-get-the-blame thesis.
The Kerry mess both humanizes him--making him look like a loving dad to boot--and gives him a ready-made excuse for his disastrous campaign (i.e., he was rattled by his marriage woes).
