Two shareholders, five engineers and five employees of subcontractors are accused of using substandard materials in the construction of a station on the railway that shuttles people to the airport, according to the Independent Commission Against Corruption.
Television Broadcast Ltd. reported that the foundation of the railway station is not deep enough and that the commission's investigation will include other railway stations, surrounding residential areas and an extension of the airport's passenger terminal.
The Mass Transit Railway Corp., which operates the airport line, said all the railway stations are safe.
