		Today Mati Klarwein resides on the island of Majorca in the Mediterranean, where he was gracious enough to receive us.
		Mati Klarwein was born in Hamburg, Germany, in 1932.
		Mati's works came to express the spirit of a whole generation of musicians ranging from the late Jerry Garcia to the equally late, great Eric Dolphy.
