 The Matrifocus Manifesto
The Matrifocus Manifesto is "under construction." It's purpose is both to describe our matrifocal vision and to allow potential Matrifocus [dot] Net (hereinafter MFDN) bloggers to compare their envisioned blog content and goals with MFDN's matrifocal vision, so that they can determine whether or not MFDN is the appropriate home for their blogs.
As a first step in construction of the Matrifocus Manifesto, let's consider the mission statement of Matrilocal Circle, the organization that sponsors Matrifocus [dot] Net.
We are a community of women committed to practicing and developing women’s spirituality in an inclusive, mutual, consensual, non-hierarchical and respectful framework.

 The Wild Hunt Blog
MatriFocus has posted the final installment of a four-part exegesis of Doreen Valiente's now-famous "Charge of The Goddess".
The charge may be the closest Wicca comes to having a scripture, and the author, Kila runs through the work line by line and gives a deep and thoughtful interpretation.
In the meantime, all four parts can be read in the MatriFocus archives.

 Cella General Activities
Comparative Religions -- By choosing to organize MatriFocus around the broadly defined "Goddess Religion" rather than Dianic Wicca or Feminist Spirituality or Neopaganism, I have created an inclusive venue and international nexus that has, at its core, the commonalities of women's experience and Goddess, expressed through a variety of spiritual traditions and experiences.
While I have, on more than one occasion, included MatriFocus in my public speaking, it is the Internet equivalent of this (emails -- to individuals and to elists -- and site promotion) that has spread the word so successfully that, by the end of our second year online, we have over 1000 readers per issue.
I have woven into my MatriFocus activities a consciousness of body and health that have contributed positively to both the zine and my health.

Goddessing: A Goddess / Pagan Blog
My ministry consists of publishing MatriFocus Cross-Quarterly (a zine); developing Matrifocus [dot] Net to bring voices of the Goddess Movement to the blogosphere; teaching; peer counseling; dream interpretation; performing rites of passage and doing divination work for community members; Saturn and Chiron Return chart casting and interpretation; and web activism.
Elizabeth has agreed to allow MatriFocus to publish an excerpt from her latest book, due out in April 2006, and I've asked Mary if she has time for and interest in publishing a gardening column for MatriFocus.
There were other writers I got to chat with briefly, and some I didn't, but I hope to know all of them better, at least by their books.
