Satoru Matsuyama was born on February 2, 1905 in Kumamoto, Japan.
Matsuyama was a member of the American Medical Association, and the Academy of Family Physicians.
Matsuyama lad a busy life - he served on the staffs of Kuakini, St. Francis, Queen's and Children's hospitals; and was also a member of the Honolulu County Medical Society and the Hawaii Medical Association.
