Matt has generally been pretty pro-Nintendo, though he's been at times rather silly in his opposition to some things Wii related lately.
I'm have no strong feelings about Matt C. one way or the other, but I think lokizz's characterization of him is unfair.
I think he's mad cause Matt's calling all those who have a Wii and a GC "foolish" if they go for the GC version.

I remember you posting about the rumor of it and then in the last few weeks two other sites one of them being 1up started saying sources close to them suggest CoD is in development for rev.
Tony Hawk's not my style, but it would be good for Revolution fans to have as many games as possible.
Not that I'm complaining Matt but why do you post news like this on your blog and not the IGN Rev channel?

For some reason it seems Matt Casamassina (of IGN.com fame) has been taking heat from Nintendo fanboys for being a "Nintendo hater" and a "Game Cube basher".
I know I'm not a huge IGN fan, but Matt is 100% right.
Though I think sometimes my apathetic reaction to the little mistakes Nintendo keeps making, makes me seem like I find them infallible.* It would be nice if Matt's words made a difference.

They mostly have to do with Matt Casamassina, Mark Bozon, and Craig Harris, all writers at IGN.

IGN GameCube and Revolution Editor-In-Chief Matt Casamassina was able to speak to some representatives from Rare and Microsoft at GDC 2006 and learned that all games produced and owned by Rareware will not be available for Nintendo Revolution's virtual console.
In addition, it is unlikely that Goldeneye 007 will appear on the virtual console as both Rareware and Electronic Arts (the series' new license holder) would have to commit to the virtual console.
