Matthew Holland (born April 11, 1974 in Bury, England) is a professional footballer currently playing for Charlton in the English Premier League.
Although born in England, he qualifies to play for Ireland through his Grandmother and went with Ireland to the 2002 World Cup scoring the equaliser against Cameroon in their opening game.
Ireland were eliminated from this tournament in a penalty shootout against Spain, Matt unfortunately being one of the players to miss his penalty.
