		Lanao del Norte is a province of the Philippines located in the Northern Mindanao region.
		The province borders Lanao del Sur to the south, Zamboanga del Sur to the west, Misamis Oriental to the northeast, Bukidnon to the east, and is separated from Misamis Occidental by Iligan Bay.
		Lanao del Norte is subdivided into 22 municipalities and 1 city.

		With hundreds of people buzzing with names of politicians, the counting of votes at the grandstand of the Mindanao Civic Center (MCC) in Tubod town, Lanao del Norte province, is a grim picture of heroism.
		They are composed of members of the board of election inspectors, and poll watchers and volunteers from the 10 municipalities in Lanao del Norte where election-related violence has threatened the polling.
