A Mauna Kea telescope and the Chandra space-based x-ray telescope have helped resolve one of the mysteries of space and possibly shown the existence of a form of fl hole called a Type 2 quasar.
The James Clerk Maxwell observatory was used to conclude that there may be situations in which the quasar doughnut is so thick that even x-rays don’t get through.
However, in these cases the power of the x-rays may heat up the dust and gas, which will then retransmit energy in another frequency, in the submillimeter range, which is between radio waves and infrared.
