Many Mauser rifles were built in captured factories in Belgium (Browning) and in the former Czechoslovakia (CZ Brno); now the Czech Republic in addition to rifles intended for other countries.

The Mauser factory in Oberndorf was destroyed after the war in July 1948 and sadly their actions are no longer made, save for the imitations that followed in later years, like Bruno, Dumoulin, FN, Winchester Pre-64 and Dakota.
Mauser used a square steel cross bolt instead of a round one which is more effective and a recoil shoulder is made in the in the stock.
As a safety measure, Mauser makes use of a flange on the firing-pin shaft to seal off the bolt tunnel and thus re-directs the gas through the two large vents in the bolt shaft and into the locking lug raceway in the left-hand receiver wall to exit through the thumb slot.

A cherry Mauser, 90 percent original finish, all matching (or even mismatched bolt), no import stamps, etc...
Mounts vary from the left-side mounted scout-style (mounted far forward, and over the rear sight leaf) to claw mounts (occasionally), turret mounts, and even left-side rear-canted claw mounts, similar to those used on the G 43's.
