		The Maxatawny Township supervisors have voted 3-0 to advertise an ordinance to establish the Northeast Joint Appeals Board with Greenwich and Longswamp townships, and Kutztown.
		The Maxatawny Township Planning Commission did not approve the preliminary plans for the 187-unit housing complex east of College Boulevard, but instead, asked that the supervisors to determine whether the developer should be required to maintain and construct cul-de-sacs on the roadway.
		Maxatawny Township and Kutztown Borough officials are nearing an agreement to create the Saucony Creek Regional Authority, a joint sewer authority that would own and operate a proposed $5.2 million joint sewage treatment plant, county officials said Monday.
