Two-adult families are on the rise in low-income neighborhoods, but that may not be the best news for the children in some of those families, according to researchers at Johns Hopkins.
And two-adult households built upon unmarried romantic relationships are not nearly as stable as families with married parents; many such households break apart in less than a year, disrupting children's living arrangements, Cherlin and Fomby say.
Research shows that such family transitions may lead to academic and social problems for children in the long run.

To determine which Board monies properly may be used by RLD, care must be taken to determine which functions should reasonably be deemed administrative functions related to licensing that are common to all boards, and which functions are unique to the Pharmacy Board.
Additionally, some of the administrative functions associated with the discipline and regulation of licensees may be properly provided by RLD in accordance with Section 30.
Therefore, it is reasonable to conclude that RLD may be paid out of the pharmacy fund only to meet the necessary administrative expenses associated with the Board’s duty to enforce these acts as well as the Pharmacy Act and not for any other purpose or other licensing board.
