		Mazatepec, its graphic shoud be Mazatepek, from maza-tl, "deer" and tepe-tl, "hill" K is an Adverb of place; contraction of ko that translated is "in", so Mazatepek would mean "In the deer´s hill"..
		After that Mazatepec was part of the señorío de Cuernavaca, tributary of the aztecs.
		During the spanish colonization, Mazatepec was considered a part of Cuernavaca´s jurisdiction, it belonged to the marquesado del Valle de Oaxaca and was named San Lucas Mazatepec; there Cortés funded the first livestock place in México.

		También entregó a cuatro productores, dentro del programa "Fomento Lechero", una mezcladora enmalezadota con capacidad de 250 kilogramos con motor eléctrico, una picadora de forraje con motor de gasolina, una notificación de cobertizo tipo uno y, finalmente, una picadora de forraje con motor de gasolina.
		En tanto, el presidente municipal de Mazatepec, Jorge Toledo Bustamante, subrayó que es importante desarrollar estos proyectos, pues esta región tiene vocación agrícola, por ello todos los esfuerzos los tres niveles de gobierno se orientarán para apoyarlos.
