 Efini MS-8 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Efini MS-8 was a luxury car produced by Mazda and sold through the Efini marque from March 1992 through 1995.
The car is a replacement to the Mazda Persona and Eunos 300 on the Mazda M platform.
Like the system on the Mazda Sentia, it is designed to minimize turn radius at town speeds, and improve stability at highway speed.

It's true Ford and Mazda shares parts and platforms, but mind you, it's the euro focus platform that the mz3 and volvo are sharing with, not the same platform in NA.
Oh and the mazda 3 is built on a focus chassis but u gotta remember that the focus was designed by the European (german i think) part of ford which has designed some of the best rally cars in the world.

M's IF most recent product, the RS Coupe, seems to be a trial balloon for the next-generation Miata, due in 2004.
Mazda has toyed with the idea of a coupe version of its popular roadster before, but never actually marketed one.
The RS Coupe was shown at the Tokyo Auto Salon in January, and according to M's IF president Tadahiko Takiguchi, the public greeted the car warmly, especially women.
