Yes, I was most surprised when I recently hired a chalet in the Mazury region of Poland, near the town of Olsztyn (some 200km north east of Warsaw), to find that within 2km of the chalet that there was a road sign indicating someone driving a golf ball!!!
If you are visiting the Lake District of Poland (known in Poland as the Mazury region), then take your clubs and spend some time at this very pleasant course.
There is a driving range, and a putting and chipping practice area.
